Our school fully embodies the core values of the AEFE network: academic excellence, openness to the world, humanism, multilingualism and the promotion of French language and culture.
From Pre-primary to grade 12, our 976 pupils from 76 different nationalities share a common educational journey, following the official French curriculum and enriched with language programs in English, German, and Spanish. This cultural and linguistic diversity makes LFJV a unique place for learning, meeting others, and experiencing the world.
Beyond academics, we are committed to providing a nurturing yet challenging environment where every student can thrive, not only academically, but also culturally, artistically and in sports. The excellent exam results our students achieve reflect the dedication of our teaching and support teams.
The Lycée Jules Verne also plays a key role in training teachers in the region through the Regional Training Institute, which supports 19 schools in Southern and Eastern Africa. This highlights our school’s key role in the AEFE network and its commitment to promoting French education.
Our ambition is clear: to run a dynamic and open institution of excellence that prepares students to face the challenges of a constantly changing world.
With this in mind, I aim to lead our community with three values that are at the heart of everything we do: kindness, high standards, and respect. These values encourage a love of learning, spark curiosity, and help every student grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
