The election of the new Board of Directors will take place from Wednesday, 25 September 2024 to Sunday, 29 September 2024, via electronic voting. Each family will have one vote (the voting link will be sent to the parent designated as Parent 1 in Eduka).
Below you will find the list all the candidates for the Board of Directors elections:
Parent of a non-French child -Johannesburg
Parent of a French child – Johannesburg
Parent of a French or Non-French Child – Pretoria
In accordance with the new statutes of the Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI), the Board is now composed of nine directors: five parents of French children and four parents of non-French children. Among these members, two must come from the Pretoria campus.
For your information, four members of the current Board of Directors, elected in October 2023 for a two-year term, will continue to serve on the Board for the 2024-2025 school year.
The following members will continue their terms:
- Sharon Mougel – parent of a French child – Johannesburg
- Julie Hoang – parent of a French child – Johannesburg
- Wardah Hartley – parent of a non-French child – Johannesburg
- Ferdinand Nyanu – parent of a non-French child – Pretoria
As a result, 5 seats need to be filled for the next two school years (One of these parents must have a child enrolled at the Pretoria Campus.)
- 3 seats for parents with children of French nationality,
- 2 for parents of children of nationalities other than French.
